Dear friends,

It’s indeed a pleasure meeting all of you online. My name is Patrick, and I am currently working as an educationist.

Being an avid writer, I have started this blog to share my teaching and working experiences with you.

Once again,  I will like to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting my blog and I hope that you will have a very pleasant stay.

Warmest Regards,

Patrick

What is interesting and unique about this blog?

If you are an Educationist……

As educationists, we use many techniques to teach, nurture and guide our young. With the advent of technology, the conventional teaching approach is no longer useful. In fact, a myriad of new techniques is needed for our young to excel, and this blog highlights some of them. It’s my sincere wish that these techniques will enable global educationists such as ourselves to enhance the effectiveness of our teaching. Of course, do give some thoughts to modifying the approach to suit your own teaching requirements. After all, innovation is about adaptation and improvisation.

If you are a Student……

Education is not only about absorbing information. You will  also need to know how to apply what you have learnt in your daily life through self-reflection and work on your communication skills as well. This is especially so in the workplace. Many of you are tech-savvy. You know how to surf the web, you understand visual communication and you are quick in your thinking. However, when it comes to problem-solving and interpersonal communication in the workplace, it’s a whole new world. Hence, this blog is also dedicated to all of you in schools who aspire to do well when you work in your later years.

If you are a Working Professional……

During my course of employment within the corporate environment,  I realise that employees and employers have distinct and different personalities. Some of them are a challenge to work with. I have thereby turned to literature (from both Asian and western sources) on ways to resolve the various issues, apply them myself and shortlisted the feasible and effective ones. In this blog, you will read about them.
